History

The handicapped aids industry is relatively new, and really only took off in the seventies and eighties. Before that, seats would be custom-built and fitted by the individual orthopedist, working with doctors and therapists. Each item was unique. Series production started in the seventies but didn’t really take off until the eighties, with companies starting to build seats, standing aids and other equipment in large numbers. We were part of this movement. Our company was founded in 1981 and began developing seats and other rehabilitation products under the name Dräger-Oehlert GmbH.
In 1993 the company reorganized, splitting into separate production and marketing companies. Now known as Reha-Partner, we make car seats, push chairs, bikes, seats and mobile frames, standing aids and much more in many sizes, to provide the best possible care for children, young people and adults. We also build custom products. Our philosophy is "There’s no such thing as impossible", and it leads us to problem solutions that truly make life easier for patients and their caregivers. Our production and quality control follow stringent German Medical Product Legislation standards, ensuring a consistently high standard for all our products.
